So I played Deadlock for 200 hours.
It's a MOBA-shooter which is an interesting mix.
When I began playing it, I was having fun.
But something changed. I don't know honestly.
I am just not good at it now. Like at all.
Can't aim properly, deal like 10000 damage in 40 minute games.
And like I am not playing it with myself. It's a team game.
So like, I pretty much throw the game by having zero skill, and my teammates are probably sad.
Cause well, they've just spent 40 minutes with a 5 ton ball attached to their leg. And that's not a fun experience.
And that makes me sad, because I caused someone else to be sad, which sucks ):
In Team Fortress 2 if I suck, no else suffers, because there are still like 11 players and everyone is playing for fun.
If they add a 12v12 mode I think it would be cool. Or like another mode where you have a certain amount of souls you can spend for the entire match.
So it still has an indepth item system.
But you don't have to spend 10 minutes farming camps.
It's a stupid suggestion for a game that's still in development.
Since they have other stuff to do.
I do hope, that once it releases, it will have this kind of mode.
Well back to me trying to understand why I am bad at this game NOW.
Because back then I was semi-good. Not amazing, just not bad.
I mostly played Viscous and MOOOOO & KRILLLLLLLLL!
They are both extremely fun characters.
I began playing as MOOOOO & KRILLLLLLLLL at first.
They are a small dude and a big mole! That's awesome :>
They are extremely tanky, can soak up a ton of damage and have a GRAB.
You didn't have to be good at shooting as him, which I really loved.
Eventually I kinda got tired of him and switched to Viscous.
I really liked viscous ball form and his punching spell.
He is also extremely mobile! Using punches to traverse huge distances is extremely fun.
Some situations where I would totally be dead become survivable.
And him having an ability to turn into a "Katamari" is awesome.
But eventually I just started playing godawfully ):
Which doesn't matter to me, but it probably matters for other people! Which sucks ):
I hate when people can comprehend me or my actions.
I think I just upgrade the wrong abilities and don't understand when to pick fights.
I deleted the game and will probably come back to it once I finish my exams or watch a video that will rekindle my interest in it.
Or tell what exactly I am doing wrong.
